It is with deep sadness that we inform you about the passing of Ms. Lilian Vitale.
Ms. Vitale was an active member of the Lebanese Library Association for many years.
Born on January 22, 1934
1959: BA degree from Beirut College for Women
1960 – 1962: Assistant Librarian at the Beirut College for Women
1963: MS in Library Science from Simmons College, Boston
1963 – 1966 Assistant Librarian at the Beirut College for Women
October 1966: Western Cataloger at Jaffet Library, AUB
1971: Science Librarian at the American University of Beirut Libraries
1989: Serials Librarian at the American University of Beirut Libraries
1999: After many dedicated years of service, Ms. Vital retired
