Online Education Series: Part 4: On Unsure Ground? Copyright and Teaching in a Digital World

Presenter: Stephen Wyber (Manager, Policy and Advocacy, International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA)

Summary: Mr. Wyber gave a general introduction to the legal aspects of copyright laws and the effect on libraries. He touched on examples related to the Lebanese Copyright Laws: strengths and weaknesses. Stephen then went on to give examples of developments of governments in certain countries in responding to digital and online education.
