Tao Yang

Tina Yang is the Associate Librarian (Learning and Research Services) of the University of Hong Kong Libraries. She provides strategic leadership in planning, promoting and delivering a wide range of learning and research services across the HKU Libraries network of seven libraries. She also oversees the library information services including service delivery and information literacy training through both face-to-face and online modes. Tina is the current Chair of the IFLA Regional Standing Committee for Asia and Oceania (RSCAO) for 2019-2021. She was an RSCAO member during 2011-2015 and RSCAO Secretary during 2017-2019. She coordinated the IFLA Global Vision Discussions in Asia and Oceania region and contributed to the development of the IFLA Strategy 2019-2024. She has been actively involved in advocating for libraries to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraging libraries to share the SDG success stories and organizing Asia-Pacific webinar on 'Libraries and the SD.'
